Note : All figures relate to Government owned electric power system based at Salelologa. This system commenced operation in mid December 1978. Village lighting schemes and other private plants are not included. Generation auxiliary usage is not separately measured on this system.
(a) : Includes Energy used by the street lights on an estimated bases, Figures for the quarter are based on the meter reading for that quarter and are not an exact measure of energy sales in that quarter. Energy sold in kwh could not be split between Upolu and Savaii from 2000 - 2002 due to installation of new billing system.
(b) : Number of consumers as at the end of the period. Number of Consumers corresponds to the number of meter e.g if one person has two meters installed, these installation would be regarded as belonging to two consumer and not one.
