Community work at Lotofaga District

    WORKING WITH THE COMMUNITY AT LOTOFAGA DISTRICT

    One of the objectives under the Samoa Statistics Strategy for 2022 – 2026, is to meet the needs of the users through conducting of census and surveys. The chairman for the District Council of Lotofaga requested the assistance of the Census, Survey and Demography division of the Samoa Bureau of Statistics, in preparation of their Mini Census to be conducted this year. The Census and Survey team conducted a presentation with Lotofaga District Council and its members on the 24th of May, 2023.


    The main focus of the presentation was to inform the participants of the whole process in preparation for a Census before it is implemented. As a way forward, the Bureau will assist with the questionnaire design in order to collect the required information and will also assist the selected participants with other processes such as training and questionnaire testing before the Mini Census main fieldwork.
