Reflecting on a Successful CHOGM 2024.

As CHOGM 2024 concludes, the Samoa Bureau of Statistics (SBS) is proud to reflect on our successful role in the event’s accreditation process. Led by our Government Statistician – Leota Aliielua Salani in close collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT), SBS worked hard to ensure that every delegate was accredited efficiently, securely, and with the warmest welcome.

Our success was made possible by incredible teamwork across sectors. Alongside us were key partners—the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), Samoa International Finance Authority (SIFA), Ministry of Education, Sports and Culture (MESC), and the Office of the Electoral Commission (OEC). We’re also grateful for the essential support of Vodafone Samoa, representing the private sector. This collective effort helped us maintain the highest standards in data integrity, security, and participant experience.

Thank you to all our partners and team members whose hard work and dedication made this possible. Your collaboration was instrumental in showcasing Samoa’s commitment to excellence and hospitality on the world stage.

Fa’afetai tele lava to everyone involved.

Samoa has shown that, with teamwork and dedication, we can achieve great things. Here’s to more opportunities for our nation to shine!
