Week 5: SDHS-MICS 2025 Main Training.

Our team continued to build critical skills for the upcoming SDHS-MICS 2025 survey. Last week, on the 16th & 17th participants visited the Ministry of Health Immunization Unit for hands-on training in Anthropometric Measurements with the help of our specialist from UNICEF Fiji, Seini , an essential requirement to ensure accurate data collection on child growth and nutrition. Today and this week we commenced training on Water Quality testing led by James Wicken , another key component of this survey.

This session is focused on procedures to assess the safety of water used in households, supporting our goal of collecting reliable data on our environmental health. These practical sessions are vital in equipping our field teams with the skills needed to carry out for this survey.
