Last week, the Census and Survey Division conducted training for supervisors in preparation for the ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฒ ๐ฃ๐ผ๐ฝ๐๐น๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐ผ๐๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐๐๐.
The training equipped supervisors with the knowledge and skills needed to lead enumerator teams during community visits and fieldwork. Key areas covered included team coordination, the use of maps and assigned enumeration areas, household interview procedures, and the importance of collecting accurate and complete information.
Supervisors play a vital role in supporting enumerators and ensuring that census activities are carried out effectively across Samoa. Their leadership and coordination will help ensure that the 2026 Census provides accurate, reliable and comprehensive information about the people and households of Samoa.
